What is kefir?

Kefir is a fermented drink made from milk. It is usually fermented on the basis of cow's or goat's milk with the help of a milk kefir grain or kefir fungus. The result is a probiotic delicious alternative to yoghurt. The fermentation of kefir usually takes no longer than 24 hours. After fermentation, the kefir grains are removed and reused as desired.

What is kombucha?

Kombucha is a fermented refreshing tea drink . With the help of a kombucha culture, various types of sweetened tea, such as green tea or black tea, are fermented. The Kombucha mushroom or Scoby is a community of various microorganisms, bacteria and yeasts that metabolize tea and sugar into a delicious drink during fermentation. This creates various nutrients and enzymes that give Kombucha its special positive effects.
