Kombucha and kefir are both fermented beverages. So why not use the concentrated probiotic power and mix it into a refreshing summer drink. This smoothie is not only super creamy and full of healthy nutrients, but can also be easily adapted with individual ingredients depending on your taste..


Kombucha Kefir Smoothie

Ingredients for 1 glass:

  • 1 cup frozen berries of your choice
  • 150ml kombucha (Original orBlackcurrant)
  • 50 ml organic kefir
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • 4 ice cubes
  • Decoration of your choice e.g. lemon slices

And this is how it is prepared:

Put all the ingredients in a blender and blend on the highest setting until you have a creamy smoothie. Decorate with decoration and enjoy immediately!

What is kefir?

Kefir is a fermented drink made from milk. It is usually fermented on the basis of cow's or goat's milk with the Support of a milk kefir grain or kefir fungus. The result is a probiotic delicious alternative to yoghurt. The fermentation of kefir usually takes no longer than 24 hours. After fermentation, the kefir grains are removed and reused as desired.
