The result of years of development: Our PrioBiotic Complex
Our PrioBiotic Complex combines the best of three worlds in one drink: active cultures, smart organic ingredients, and valuable vitamin C with bioactive compounds. The naturally occurring vitamin C supports your well-being with benefits for energy, balance, and cell protection.*
What does PrioBiotic mean?
PrioBiotic is our own method for a new generation of raw kombucha. The name combines "Prio" for priority – from the Latin prior for "foremost" – with "Biotic" from the Greek bios for "life".
Since 2019, we have been developing kombucha with a clear goal: to put the living and natural at the center. True fermentation instead of pasteurization, carefully selected organic ingredients, and a recipe we have continuously refined over the years.
This led to the creation of our PrioBiotic Complex: our interplay of millions of active cultures, smart organic ingredients, and vitamin C in every bottle.
PrioBiotic is therefore more than a term. It is the way we make kombucha.
Active Cultures: Kombuchery contains millions of active cultures from natural fermentation. Our kombucha provides carefully selected, resilient cultures such as Lactobacillus Rhamnosus.
Smart Organic Ingredients: Our kombucha is made exclusively from natural organic ingredients. Traditional fermentation creates a living beverage – raw, unpasteurized and particularly gently processed. It contains no artificial additives, has a low sugar content, and is transformed into a modern superdrink by selected, smart organic ingredients.
Vitamin C: Kombuchery supports your body in everyday life. Thanks to the vitamin C it contains, it can strengthen your immune system, support energy metabolism, reduce fatigue, protect cells from oxidative stress and promote important functions such as normal collagen formation – for more balance and well-being from within.*

Everything included, instead of empty promises
Many drinks are pasteurized, heavily sweetened, or industrially produced. Kombuchery is created through natural fermentation and remains unpasteurized. This is exactly what makes the difference compared to many other drinks.

Fermented by the power of nature.

Just like 2,000 years ago, we still produce our kombucha traditionally today. Only genuine, natural ingredients – tea, water, and a little sugar – form the basis. This means kombucha remains a living natural product, created from simple ingredients and a natural process – fermentation.
Here's how it works:
1. Yeast “eats” the sugar →
The yeast in the SCOBY starts the fermentation by breaking down sugar. This produces carbonic acid, a small amount of alcohol, and nutrients – which gives kombucha its typical fizziness and invigorating effect.
2. Bacteria convert the alcohol →
The good bacteria then convert the alcohol produced and any remaining sugars into organic acids and enzymes. This process creates a deeper flavour and is what makes kombucha so special.
3. The result?
A naturally sparkling, slightly sour drink that refreshes, tastes good and has many benefits. During this process, live cultures, organic acids, natural carbonation, as well as enzymes & nutrients are naturally formed.
Complex in taste, effervescent and full of natural power.

"Kombucha is a fermented tea-based drink that was first mentioned in Asia over 2,000 years ago. According to an old legend, a Korean doctor is said to have introduced the fermented tea drink to the Japanese emperor as a special elixir of life."
